Within the framework of the implementation of the “Two People with One Heart” program, the Venezuelan Embassy in Damascus delivered a set of medical supplies and wheelchairs to the “Insan” Association for Psychological and Social Support in order to support persons with disabilities and beneficiaries of the association. This activity took place at the association’s headquarters in Al-Assad villages in Damascus countryside.
Chargé d’Affairs at the Venezuelan Embassy, Joaquim Gomez, explained in a speech that this aid is a message that Syria and Venezuela have mutual friendly and brotherly relations, and that the relations between the two countries are not limited to the official level, but also include the two peoples, pointing out that the “Two People with One Heart” program consists of several activities aimed at enhancing communication and partnership between the two countries.
This humanitarian work proves that the concerns are common and the siege that the two countries are subjected to is one and shows that the two peoples are close to each other. The aid comes within one program that is being implemented in stages.
