Medical cooperation between Syria and Russia discussed

On April 26th, the Syrian Ambassador to Moscow Bashar Al-Jaafari met with the Director General of the State Pharmaceuticals Company in the Russian province of Nizhny Novgorod, Pavel Yastrebov.

The two sides discussed issues related to the development of cooperation between the two countries in the medical and pharmaceutical fields.

Yastrebov affirmed his company’s readiness to provide additional aid to Syria, pointing out that a delegation from the company will visit Damascus soon to discuss ways to strengthen relations with the Syrian concerned authorities.

For his part, Al-Jaafari thanked the staff of the company and the Russian people in general,  especially for the assistance in the wake of the earthquake and its repercussions.

 He stressed the need to consolidate cooperation between the two friendly countries in all fields.
