with the participation of more than 650 Syrian physicians residing in the US from various medical specialties.

scientific lectures, and provide medical advice to patients to keep pace withglobal medical developments.
The conference included lectures on emergency medicine and
scientific research, introductions to international organizations and volunteering, and discussion on medical specialization in the United States, Europe and France.
The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Homs Talal Haboush noted that the conference is an important
platform for presenting new research and studies in the medical field, and is an opportunity to promote scientific and technological progress.
In a special statement to Al-Hurriya newspaper, Zaher
Sahloul, president of MedGlobal International, who was born in Homs and has lived in Chicago for 35 years and who is the founder of the Homs Recovery
Initiative, explained that Homs was chosen due to its central location in Syria, its great suffering during the war, and the displacement of a large number of doctors from the province.
The medical conference served as a link between expatriate doctors and the doctors in Homs, providing training and education for medical students and graduate students.
