Media office in Gaza: the occupation targeted three journalists in the central Gaza Strip to prevent them from revealing its crimes

The Gaza Media Office announced that the Israeli occupation deliberately targeted three journalists in the Al-Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip during their press work and media coverage of the 189-day aggression.

“As a continuation of the occupation’s genocidal war against the Gaza Strip, the occupying forces deliberately targeted three Palestinian journalists north of Nuseirat camp, clearly wearing the press vests, injuring them and amputating one’s leg,” the office said in a statement today.

“This crime is part of a series of serious violations that have affected Palestinian press crews and journalists, of whom 140 have been martyred so far  by the occupation in cold blood during the ongoing genocidal war.” The office added.

The office held the international community responsible for its failure to stop the ongoing aggression, calling on the International Federation of journalists and all press associations in the world to condemn the massacres of the occupation and prosecute it in international forums and courts for its crimes against journalists and media workers.
