The office said in a statement yesterday: “More than one hundred thousand wounded and sick people in the northern Gaza Strip need urgent and rapid health and medical care, which is not available due to the occupation’s complete destruction of the health system and the depletion of the remaining medical supplies,” noting that the occupation deliberately targeted medical staff, executing many of them.
The media office in Gaza Strip revealed that 770 Palestinians were killed and more than a thousand others were injured, in addition to dozens of missing persons in Jabalia camp during 19 days of the ongoing genocide committed by the Israeli occupation forces in northern Gaza Strip.
The office indicated that the occupation forces arrested 200 Palestinians, including women, from various areas in the northern Gaza Strip during the past few days, and took them to an unknown location, expressing its fear of executing them in the field as it did many times before.
The office confirmed that the continuous bombing of the occupation forces in the northern Gaza Strip forced thousands of Palestinians to be forcibly displaced from their homes and residential neighborhoods, as they destroyed thousands of residential units and towers and burned many displacement centers, by using huge quantities of explosives dropped by American-made aircraft or by planting them between homes and residential neighborhoods, then detonating them, which caused massive and unprecedented destruction, which is a crime against humanity according to international crimes classified by international law and human rights agreements.
The media office called on the international community and UN institutions to work to provide medical aid to the remaining medical teams, and food aid to tens of thousands of Palestinians in the northern Gaza Strip, against whom the occupation practices a policy of systematic starvation, holding the American administration fully responsible for the continuation of the crime of genocide and the continued killing of innocent children and women in the stricken Gaza Strip.
