Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi discussed in Baghdad today, Thursday, with Sattam Jadaan Al-Dandah, Syria’s ambassador to Iraq, bilateral relations between the two countries and issues of common interest.
According to the media office of the Prime Minister and the Iraqi News Agency, the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two countries was emphasized and expanded to include many areas topped by the economic, cultural and security cooperation, as well as joint coordination in the field of combating terrorism in a way that enhances the security of the two countries and stability in the region.
Earlier on Monday, the Syrian Ambassador to Iraq Sattam Jadaan Al-Dandah discussed with the Iraqi National Security Adviser Qassem Al-Araji ways to develop cooperation in the security field and borders’ control.
