Mayaleh: A second Session for Selling foreign Currency today

 DAMASCUS,(ST)_ The Governor of the Central Bank of Syria Dr. Adib  Mayaleh announced yesterday that there will be a second sale session sale of foreign currencies for  to exchange institutions on Sunday at 12 noon.

On May 23rd, The Central Bank of Syria sold a slice of foreign exchange  at a value of 6.3 million Euros for exchange companies and  offices.

On June 18, the  Central Bank of Syria also sold  8 million U.S. dollars to banks in order to finance import operations  according to  market need and a slice worth 50 million Euros to companies and exchange offices to fund non-commercial operations  and to meet the demand of individuals of  foreign exchange rate at a thousand Euros per citizen per month.
