Mauritanian Progressive Popular Movement Party affirms support for Syria in confronting  terrorist attacks

Mauritanian Progressive Popular Movement Party affirmed that the terrorist attacks that Syria is being subjected to come within the framework of implementing the Zionist enemy’s plans to redraw the map of the “Middle East” that it has explicitly announced, stressing its support and solidarity with Syria, army and people, in the face of these attacks.

The party said in a statement following a solidarity visit by its president, Akhyarhom Weld Hamadi, to the Syrian embassy in Nouakchott and his meeting with Ambassador Qusay Mustafa: “The armed Takfiri groups with all their factions from “ISIS” launched an attack against Syrian cities in implementation of the Zionist enemy’s plan in a desperate attempt to create chaos and instability in Syria and to sever the link between Syria and the axis of resistance.”

The party stressed its full support for the unity of Syrian territory and sovereignty away from any illegal foreign interference, expressing full support for the Syrian Arab Army in confronting the new terrorist attacks supported by the Zionist entity, America and NATO.

The party called on the Arab people in various Arab countries, each from its position, to support the Syrian Arab Republic in the face of this terrorist attack and to defend the unity and sovereignty of Syria.
