Massive rally in Damascus marking Quds Day

Damascus – A massive rally was held Friday in Damascus starting al-Hamidiyeh market in Damascus marking the International Quds (Jerusalem) Day, an annual event held on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.

The rally was organized by the Palestinian resistance forces and Iran-Palestine friendship society.

 

The event was first initiated by the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1979 to express solidarity with the Palestinian people in the face of the Israeli occupation entity and its control of Jerusalem.
