Massive Demonstrations in several Syrian provinces in Protest Against Recent Israeli Statements

Today, the Al-Karama Square in the center of Sweida witnessed a massive demonstration, attended by various trade union, vocational, and civil society organizations, in protest against the recent Israeli statements and in rejection of interference in Syria’s internal affairs.

Participants in the demonstration affirmed their rejection of all division and separatist projects, calling on local and national entities to confront the proposed Israeli project.

They emphasized that the people of Jabal al-Arab are Syrian citizens and landowners, an integral part of the Syrian fabric, and they are not minorities and do not need protection from anyone abroad.

They will only accept a state of law that protects the land and the people.

The participants highlighted the importance of asserting the state’s sovereignty over all Syrian territories and defending it against any external aggression.

They called for taking all legal measures before the relevant international bodies regarding the hostile Israeli statements, which constitute a violation of international rules, laws, the United Nations Charter, and the disengagement agreement.

Aleppo

Also, people in Aleppo city gather at Saadallah al-Jabri Square, rejecting the recent Israeli statements and supporting the unity of the Syrian territories.

 

Lattakia

Citizens in Lattakia condemn recent Israeli statements and express their rejection of any incursion into villages and towns in Quneitra Province.
