Mass rally in Quneitra province marking the 42nd anniversary of the comprehensive strike in the occupied Syrian Golan

People in Quneitra province have renewed their adherence to their homeland, Syria, affirming the continuity of their struggle in the confrontation of the Israeli measures that aim at Judaizing the occupied Syrian Golan.

The mass rally, held by the Quneitra branch of the Baath Party at the stage of Dar Al-Golan for Culture and Arts in Al-Baath city, in commemoration of 42nd anniversary of the Comprehensive Strike announced by the people of occupied Syrian Golan on February 14th, 1982 in rejection of the Israeli occupation decision to annex occupied Golan.

Participants in the rally reiterated that the Israeli annexation decision is illegal and it contradicts Geneva 4th convention on the treatment of civilians under occupation.

The participants stressed that the practices of the occupation authorities and their aggressive and expansionist settlement measures will not change the fact that the Golan will continue to be a Syrian Arab territory and an integral part of Syrian national sovereignty.
