Martyrs, wounded, starvation and massive destruction due to the genocidal war in Gaza

Occupied Al- Quds, (ST) – As the genocidal war in the Gaza Strip enters its ninth month, the Israeli occupation, with the support of the United States, escalates its bombing of the Strip. It continues to close all crossings in defiance of international resolutions, that call for ceasefire, in clear disregard for the decision of the International Court of Justice, which calls for stopping the invasion of Rafah and the necessity of taking all measures to prevent Acts prohibited under the Genocide Convention and for ensuring that the urgent humanitarian needs of the Strip are met immediately.

Wafa News Agency reported that during the past hours, the occupation bombed with aircraft and artillery homes in the neighborhoods of Al-Zaytoun, Tal Al-Hawa and Al-Sabra in Gaza City, the Bureij camp in the center of the Strip, Jabalia in its north, and Khan Yunis in its south, which led to the martyrdom of 27 Palestinians and the injury of dozens.

The occupation war boats bombed homes off the sea in Rafah, in the Sheikh Ajlin area, the port, and Al-Shate’ camp, west of Gaza City, while a Palestinian was martyred on Israeli gunfire on the coast of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza Strip.

Yesterday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the number of victims of the ongoing occupation aggression against Gaza Strip since the seventh of last October had risen to 36,439 martyrs and 82,627 wounded.

Gaza Media Office: Starvation war threatens with the death of more than 3,500 children in Gaza Strip

Meanwhile, the Gaza Media Office affirmed that more than 3,500 children under the age of five in Gaza Strip are at risk of gradual death as a result of the starvation war waged by the Israeli occupation, as part of the genocidal war. It called on the international community to take immediate action to save the children.

The office on Tuesday said in a statement: These children suffer from malnutrition to an advanced degree that has affected the structure of their bodies, which actually exposes them to the risk of infectious diseases that destroy their lives, delay their growth, and threaten their survival.

The office added: Children in Gaza Strip need a radical and immediate solution to all the crises to which they are systematically exposed by the Israeli occupation, first and foremost of which is the provision of food, healthcare and vaccination.

“There are children who need advanced psychological care due to the horror they have experienced”, the office added.

It pointed out that 15,438 children have been killed since the start of the aggression and tens of thousands have been injured, in addition to the fact that more than 17,000 children are now living without one or both of their parents.

The office condemned in the strongest terms the continuation of the genocidal war and crimes against humanity committed by the occupation and supported by the American administration. It called on the international community and international organizations, as well as the organizations concerned in child care to stand up to their responsibilities and save the children in Gaza Strip, who number 335,000 children who live an extremely difficult conditions as a result of the Israeli war of genocide and displacement policy.

The office called on the International Criminal Court, all other international courts, and all free judges in the world, to prosecute and hold accountable the Israeli and American war criminals that systematically target children and throw them into a holocaust the likes of which the world has never witnessed.

The office appealed to all countries of the free world and international organizations to put pressure on the occupation and the United States, in order to stop the genocidal war, open the Rafah crossing and all other crossings to allow the entry of children’s food of various types.
