Martyrs Photos Immortalized on Large Syrian Flag

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ A rally was organized today by civil and Baath party activities in Mouhajreen area in Damascus to immortalize the Syrian army using their photos to form a large Syrian flag.

During this event, 44 martyrs’ families were honored in appreciation of their son’s sacrifice in protecting Syria.

Many religious figures, parliament members and Baath party members attended this event today.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of 68th anniversary of Syria’s Independence Day, the Syrian Embassy in Beirut organized a solidarity stand in participation with the Syrian community in Lebanon.

The Syrian Ambassador, Ali Abdul Karim, said, “Syria and its leadership, army and people gave a great lesson to the whole world despite shelling out US billions of the petrodollars countries, Syria will remain strong and will never falter.”

“The Syrian people will achieve victory over terrorism, extremism and their supporters very soon ad will overcome the global conspiracy being hatched against the country,” the ambassador concluded.
