Martyrs’ Families in Homs Honored

HOMS, (ST)- In appreciation of martyrs’ sacrifices, the Baath Arab Socialist Party branch in Homs yesterday held a ceremony to honor 200 families of the martyrs.

The party branch Secretary  Sobhi Harb noted that ” the sacrifices,  offered by martyrs,  are immortal, they last forever in our hearts and minds,”  stressing that Syria is immune against  conspiracies and it continues to fight  the armed terrorist groups  till victory is achieved thanks  to the Syrian people’s  steadfastness and the army ‘s strength.

For his part, the Central Region Command confirmed that the risks,  Syria is being exposed to, are the fiercest aggression known in history,  expressing his appreciation for the sacrifices of the martyrs to keep Syria stable.

Chief of  the Political Guidance Branch in the Central Region said that Syria’s experience with terrorism  was bitter and difficult and the conspiracy  was fierce. But the will of our people and our army is stronger than heinous schemes.

The martyrs’ relatives  expressed their readiness to sacrifice their souls for the homeland’s dignity.
