Martyrdom enhances resistance, says Sabbagh

Damascus, (ST) – Speaker of the people’s Assembly, Hammoudah Sabbagh sent a message of condolences to the head of the Iranian Shura Council (parliament), Ali Larijani,over the martyrdom of Soleimani the leader of al-Quds Failaq in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and a group of resistance leaders, in which he affirmed his condemnation and denunciation of this treacherous American aggression.

In his telegram, Sabbagh said that “This pure blood will increase the insistence of the young and honorable resistance fighters in the region and the world to follow the approach of these leaders in resisting the occupation and the aggressive policies of the United States of America and its allies, which violate the sovereignty of states and the rights of their people and steal their wealth and goods, in the service of their colonial interests and those of the racist entity Israel.

Sabbagh, in his name and the name of the members of the People’s Assembly, expressed his condolences to the Iranian Shura Council, to the brotherly Iranian people, and to the Iranian leadership, led by His Eminence, the Leader of the Iranian Islamic Revolution, Mr. Ali Khamenei, with this painful affliction.

He also offered sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs, asking the Lord Almighty to inspire them all with patience and solace.
