Marking Labor Day Workers reaffirm their determination to continue working and producing regardless of difficulties

Damascus Countryside, (ST) – With a firm will and heroic steadfastness, the workers in Syria continued their work, defying all the difficult circumstances that they went through as a result of terrorism,  affirming that they will  continue to produce, maintain facilities and secure the basics of life for the people of the homeland.

On their Eid, which falls on May 1 of each year, the workers of Adra Industrial City assured SANA correspondent that they would remain loyal soldiers for their country, the main supporter of the brave Syrian Arab Army in the face of the enemies of this country, stressing that they  will continue the march of work and production to revive their factories and facilities so as to regain distinction .

 Salem Wadaa, a worker in a private company, said, “Syrian workers will remain the economic pillar alongside the home protectors to defeat the conspirators and reduce the unilateral economic measures imposed on this country.” He noted that May 1 is an Eid (celebration)for the working class, in which the workers express their belonging and love for their country by continuing to work, regardless of the difficulties.

Dr. Doaa Hussein expressed her pleasure at being present on this day with her colleagues in the factory sharing this Eid with them as they continue to work behind their machines, emphasizing that the working class is the basis for the continuation of life and the development of the economy.

According to Nader Hajjar, who came from the city of Aleppo and works in the industrial city of Adra, the workers will continue to stand firm in their factories to overcome all difficulties and help the state to overcome the difficulties that hinder the improvement of the industrial reality, which will positively affect the national economy.

Madiha Omran, a worker in a medical company, expressed the workers’ keenness to be present in the factories on Labor Day and celebrate it by increasing production, adding that they will remain loyal to their country working together to rebuild it.

Industrialist Mustafa Kamrah said, “We are always present in our factories even on our Eid and are keen to produce and secure the needs of citizens. The first of May is one of the most important days when the worker is proud of himself and his role in building his nation.”

Worker Muhammad Ja`ja affirmed that despite the unjust conditions of the siege on Syria, the workers were still present in their factories and facilities to complete the march of construction and that Syria would remain steadfast, hoping that the first of May would be a new beginning for the advancement of Syria.

Yasmine Al-Abdullah, working in a company for the production of sterilizers, pointed to the workers ’keenness to continue the production process and to provide the citizen’s requirements of the high quality national products.
