Mario Balotelli finally scores to give Liverpool win over Tottenham

Mario Balotelli scored his first Premier League goal to hand Liverpool a late winner in their 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspurs at Anfield.

The maverick Italian bagged in the 83rd minute to break Spurs hearts after they twice came from behind to equalise either side of half time.

Brendan Rodgers’ men have blown the race for a Champions League place wide open after clawing back to one point behind Spurs and just two behind Arsenal in 4th.

This victory leaves Liverpool in 7th and just three points off Arsenal while Spurs stay above the Reds in 6th on 43 points.
