MOSCOW, (ST)- Marine Le Pen, France’s National Front political party leader, has urged the European Union to change it alliances in the fight against terrorism and to cooperate with Russia, Syria and Egypt in confronting this serious threat.
RT quoted Le Pen as saying to the “Russia1” channel that “the European politicians are making certain decisions that expose the peoples of Europe to very huge danger. “
She blamed former French President Nicolas Sarkozy and the current President Francois Hollande for the destruction and tragic events in Libya and Syria as “they both contributed to the destabilization in the two countries and supported terrorist extremist organizations there, thereby creating the ongoing immigrants crisis in Europe.”
Le Pen criticized the European policies in dealing with terrorism danger, saying “the European politicians didn’t even seize the opportunity to depend on Syrian security sources, though Syria has proved its superiority in the area of fighting terrorism.”
The French party leader has repeatedly held leaders of the European Union countries and the United States for destabilizing Syria, Libya and the entire Middle East, leading to a growing wave of immigration towards Europe by people of these countries.
