About 1000 people including 300 with special needs took part this morning in a marathon held in al-Jala’ sports city marking the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
Organized by the Initiative of Ahel Al-Sham Organization in cooperation with al-Nada Society, the marathon included participants from institutes for people with special needs affiliated to the Ministry of Social Affairs, a number of domestic societies and children from Damascus Countryside Parliament.
