Mansour calls for an immediate stop of the deadly Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip

Palestine’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Riyad Mansour has called on the international community to stop the destructive and deadly Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip which had been continuous for 15 days, and to hold the occupation accountable.

According to Wafa Agency, Mansour stressed in letters to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, President of the Security Council and President of the United Nations General Assembly that the occupation continues its aggression against Gaza through bombing homes, hospitals, and religious sites, the most recent of which was its bombing of the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Porphyrios, which claimed the lives of 16 Palestinians amd the injury of 60 others who had taken refuge in the church fwating the Israeli bombardment.

Mansour, in his letters, pointed out that the occupation’s demanding UNRWA to evacuate five of its schools and a number of hospitals is a serious violation of international humanitarian law, calling on the international community to fulfill its legal, political and humanitarian obligations.
