Malaysian PM: Crime of assassinating Suleimani is immoral act

Kuala Lampur (ST): Malaysian Prime Minister Mahatir Mohammad described the American crime of assassinating the commander of al-Quds Brigade major general Qassem Suleimani as an immoral act.

Reuters quoted Mahatir as saying to media today that targeting Mahatir with an American airstrike contradicts international law.

He stressed that it is high time for Islamic states to unify to protect themselves against external threats.

Mahatir added that this crime will lead to the increase of what the Americancalled terrorism.
