Malaysian delegation visits Syria’s pavilion in Expo 2020 Dubai

A high ranking Malaysian delegation on Friday visited the Syrian pavilion in “Expo2020 Dubai” to figure out economic, trade and investment opportunities provided by the participating companies for cooperation between Syria and Malaysia.

The Malaysian delegation was led by Minister of Environment and Water Tuan Ibrahhim. Syrian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Ghassan Abbas and Director of the Syrian pavilion Khaled Al-Sham’a met with members of the Malaysian delegation and agreed with them on continuously holding meetings for businessmen from both sides with the aim of enhancing bilateral ties and cooperation.

“Our participation in this major international event provides a precious opportunity to introduce the Syrian culture and civilization to the world and to show the promising economic opportunities presented by several sectors, including the food industries, tourism, artistic production, health, infrastructure and others,” Abbas said in a statement.

Delegations of several countries have visited the Syrian pavilion since the beginning of the exhibition early this month.
