Makhlouf reviews with Sablin joint work to support the return of the displaced from abroad

Damascus (ST): The Minister of Local Administration, Eng. Hussein Makhlouf, discussed with Dmitry Sablin, Chairman of the Russian-Syrian Parliamentary Friendship Committee in the Russian State Duma, and the accompanying delegation, ways of joint action and efforts to support the return of the displaced from abroad and their stability in their cities and villages and to improve the humanitarian and economic reality in various governorates.

 Minister Makhlouf affirmed that the two sides are working jointly in the two Syrian-Russian coordination ministerial bodies for the return of the displaced Syrians from abroad with close cooperation in various fields, indicating that the Syrian state has worked to provide a supportive environment for the return of the displaced and to secure their stability in their cities, including those related to legislation or the logistical infrastructure required according to capabilities, referring to the general amnesty decrees that were recently issued and the legislation that helps to advance the economic, social, living and service situation in the country.

Sablin, in turn, praised the efforts of the Syrian government in providing services, reconstruction and building health, educational and electrical facilities, pointing out that the Russian side continues to provide humanitarian aid to Syrian citizens in various governorates.
