Homs (ST): The scientific studies of researchers at Al-Baath
University were not limited to being presented or discussed in the
seminar halls, but rather transcended the university arena to engage
in society, achieving the purpose for which it was found, as is the
case in the research of the young woman Intisar Ismail, which bore the
title (magnetic blind counter for all kinds of arithmetic operations)
and obtained an invention patent due to its scientific importance in
the educational field.
Researcher Ismail, a graduate of the Faculty of Education,
specializing in (class teacher), explained in her speech to the news
reporter that the magnetic counter device contains sensory, visual,
tactile and kinesthetic indicators that help build mental processes
and develop language skills, perception, attention, memorization and
memory, which have a major role in stabilizing sports information for
people with disabilities, children with autism, hyperactivity, Down,
mental retardation, visual impairment and learning difficulties among
the gifted and talented. The program aims to teach children to master
the language of mathematics as a readable, written and audible
language from the age of 4 years to the age of 17 years and
distinguish between developmental and educational or academic defects.
