Caracas, Grozny (ST): Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro condemned the attempted Ukrainian attack on the Kremlin, expressing his country’s full solidarity with Russia.
Sputnik quoted the Kremlin as saying in a statement: Maduro expressed, in a phone call to Russian President Vladimir Putin yesterday, Caracas’ strong condemnation of the attempt by the Kiev regime to strike Kremlin territory with drones.
Maduro, on behalf of the people of Venezuela, expressed full solidarity and support with Russia. According to the statement, the two presidents also discussed topical issues in developing the Russian-Venezuelan strategic partnership, including the implementation of joint projects in the humanitarian, trade, economic and energy fields, and agreed to continue contacts at various levels.
In the same context, the President of the Russian Republic of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, confirmed that the Ukrainian attack on the Kremlin represents an attack on the president, the state and the entire Russian people, noting that the response will be “decisive and accurate.”
Kadyrov added, “One of the tasks of Russia and its allies is to restore the institutions of global justice so that they become impartial and independent again, and to put an end to unipolarity in the world,” noting that the attempt to attack the Kremlin will not change the course of the Russian military operation in Ukraine.
