“ Made In Syria “ Shopping Festival Kicks Off in Lattakia

The monthly shopping festival “ Made In Syria “ kicked off on Sunday with the  Participation of about 100 national industrial companies from  several provinces and different sectors  at Alma Hotel in Lattakia province.

The economic festival’s 95th session is held by Damascus and its countryside Chamber of Commerce.

Talal Kalaji, chairman of the festival’s organizing committee said in a statement to SANA correspondent “The   festival, which will last till the eighth of this month,   offers discounts on many products within the framework of competitiveness with local markets”

He highlighted the importance of this festival in terms of items and products and allowing direct communication between producers and consumers.

Kalaji pointed out that another session of the festival is due to   be held in the city of Jableh after Lattakia, noting that the current shopping festival includes new companies which are interested in communicating with consumers and gain their confidence and satisfaction.

On her part, Oroba Marwa Head of Alma Hotel underscored that   providing all possible facilities   and support to Damascus Chamber of Commerce to hold this festival represents supporting the national economy.

It is noteworthy to say that the 100 companies display a wide range of local industries and hand-made products including food, cosmetic, stationery, plastic products, detergents, perfume and textiles
