Participants in the monthly “Made in Syria” shopping festival in its 155th edtion at Al-Jalaa Sports City in Damascus, have stressed the importance of the festival in supporting the producer and the consumer, as it achieves a high rate of sales at lower prices than those in the market.
Nermin Hawa, marketing Director at Pastalini Salhani Company, stressed the company’s keenness to permanently participate in the festival with its pasta, vermicelli and “spaghetti” products, which achieves a mutual benefit for the producer and the consumer through increased sales and competitive prices in addition to the possibility of benefiting from the company’s offers and the competitions at the end of the festival.
In her turn, Jumana Ghattas, Director of Marketing and Sales at Sahar Al-Sharq Company, pointed out that what distinguishes this festival is that all its products are Syrian-made and distinguished for their high quality, as the Syrian product has maintained its presence and competitiveness in the markets. She pointed to the company’s keenness to participate in the festival and with discounts on the prices of products exceeding 20 percent.
The activities of the monthly shopping festival “Made in Syria,” organized by the Damascus and Rural Chambers of Industry and the Damascus Countryside Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Syrian Trade Corporation, began last Thursday, the first of February, and will continue until the tenth of February with the participation of more than 70 specialized national companies whose display various products including textile, food, engineering and chemical production, in addition to many handicrafts and antiques.
