BAGHDAD, Dec.27, (ST)-Today, the Syrian Ambassador to Iraq, Sattam Al-Dandah, inaugurated “Made in Syria” exhibition in Baghdad International Fair in the presence of a number of Iraqi diplomats and members of parliament.

Some 100 industrials, agricultural, trading and health companies are taking part in the exhibition, showing various items of food, textile, electrical, medical, cosmetic products and traditional artifacts in the largest two chambers at the Baghdad International Fair.

“The exhibition significantly indicates upgrading of the Syrian and Iraqi cooperation to the highest levels in trade….The Syrian products are widely demanded in Iraq because of their high quality, good manufacturing and low prices,” the Ambassador Al-Dandah told the correspondent of the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) in Iraq.

Al-Dandah added that the exhibition, being held in collaboration with Iraqi brothers, is one of the major components to break the western economic blockade imposed on Syria.

The exhibition will last until the 6th of next month.
