Madamieh Residents Refused UN Aids : Goal -Trading Syrian People

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Residents of Madamieh in rural Damascus yesterday refused the entry of UN humanitarian aid that the West is trying to politicize under different names for trading the Syrian people, stressing that the Syrian government and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent carry out their duty to the fullest.

Madamieh citizens, on the other hand, expressed satisfaction over the process of national reconciliation in the city as means to enhance national cohesion and rejecting  all forms of violence, stressing that all foodstuffs and consumer goods are available in daily provided by about 7 cars loaded with bread, vegetables and fruits.

General coordinator of people ‘s reconciliations, who is also in charge of reconciliation in Madamieh Hassan Ghandour said that aid that comes ” from the Zionist lobby will not enter into the city.. We do not need media deals for trading the Syrian people,” pointing out that the Syrian state and the Syrian Red Crescent carry out their duty to the fullest and the needs of the city are ensured.

He explained that everyone is now working on the rehabilitation of the infrastructure, including schools and furnaces, noting that within few weeks, there will be large breakthroughs, pointing out of external and internal attempts to block the people reconciliation that began three months ago in the city.

In turn, member of the people reconciliation in the city Dr. Ali Khalifa said that most of the relief aid comes from citizens and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and that impeding obstacles are overcome in cooperation among parties involved.

Citizen Mohammed Ziad Damrani  said that the Syrian state is the only side responsible for preserving the interests of the Syrian people, while citizen Osama Arnous said that the United Nations is trying through this assistance to achieve victory at the expense of the Syrian people, indicating that the Syrians are the only ones who are able to build their country without aids intended interference in their internal affairs.
