French President Emmanuel Macron said today that the Turkish regime forces are cooperating with terrorists linked to Daesh terrorist organization in its aggression on Syrian territory.
“When I look at Turkey, I see it sometimes works with fighters linked to the ISIS terrorist organization”, France Press Agency quoted Macron as saying during a news conference with the US President Donald Trump in London ahead of the NATO summit, calling on the Turkish regime to present clarifications on this during the NATO summit.
Observers point out that Macron’s statements are an attempt to exchange roles and interests with supporters of terrorism, including the United States, Britain and the Turkish regime.
On the other hand, Macron- whose country has supported the terrorists since the beginning of the crisis in Syria- stressed his adherence to the description of NATO as “being in a state of brain death”, adding that “I adhere to those statements,” which Trump considered “very humiliating” for the alliance.
In an interview with Britain’s the Economist magazine last month, Macron said Europe could no longer rely on the United States to defend itself, considering the NATO as being in a “brain death”.
