Macron: Erdogan’s policy is a destabilizing factor for Europe

French President Emmanuel Macron confirmed that the President of the Turkish regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is pursuing a policy that is destabilizing Europe.

In an interview with Paris Match magazine published on August 20, Macron said that Erdogan is pursuing an expansionist  policy that is inconsistent with European interests, and this constitutes a destabilizing factor for Europe.

Macron indicated that Europe must assume its responsibility and address this policy of Erdogan.

On August 14, , Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg called on the European Union to re-evaluate its relations with the Turkish regime, referring to the provocative and illegal actions carried out by the Turkish regime in the eastern Mediterranean.
