Lukashenko: Belarus has strong and deep-rooted relations with Syria

MINSK, (ST)_Belarus’s President  Alexander Lukashenko has affirmed his country’s support for Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

His remarks were came after he received the credentials of Syria’s new ambassador to Belarus Mohammad al-Omrani .

“Belarus and Syria have strong and deep-rooted friendly relations based on mutual trust,” the Belarusian president said, calling for enhancing these relations in all domains.

Lukashenko referred to efforts exerted by the Syrian state to restore stability and security to all areas in Syria, adding that these efforts would lead to economic and social recovery.

He also talked about the current difficult situation in Belarus, asserting that his country will overcome the ordeal and achieve internal stability.
