Lugansk: 35 policemen released from Ukrainian captivity

President of the Lugansk People’s Republic, Leonid Pasichnik, announced the return of 35 Lugansk policemen after their release from Ukrainian captivity.

“Today, 35 personnel of the People’s Police of the Republic have returned from Ukrainian captivity, after they were beaten and tortured there,” RIA Novosti news agency quoted Pasichnik as saying on his Telegram page.

He added that all the returnees will undergo medical tests, while the Lugansk authorities will continue their efforts to achieve the release of all prisoners of the republic detained in the prisons of the Nazi Ukrainian.
