Locals in Qamishli countryside rally to protest against US occupation and demand its expulsion

HASAKA, (ST)- Locals in al-Bajaria village in the northern countryside of Hasaka on Saturday held a mass rally to protest against the presence of US occupation troops in Syria and to condemn the occupation’s attack on a Syrian Arab Army checkpoint  in Tal Al-Zahab area in Qamishli countryside.

According to SANA reporter, participants in the rally carried the national flag and chanted slogans demanding the expulsion of the US occupation from Syria. The reporter added that the participants carried placards calling for resisting the US occupation that keeps violating Syria’s sovereignty and stealing its resources.

The participants stressed that backing the Syrian Arab Army is the national duty of every Syrian citizen.

 The protestors condemned the US occupation’s attack on a checkpoint of the Syrian Arab Army in Tal Al-Zahab in the countryside of Qamishli, calling for reactivating the role of popular resistance in expelling the occupying forces, SANA reporter pointed out.
