Locals in Deir Ezzour countryside protest against poor living conditions caused by US-backed SDF militia’s corruption practices

DEIR EZZOR, (ST)- Locals in the town of Al-Kasra in Deir Ezzour western countryside took to the streets in protest against the aggressive practices and acts of looting of Syria’s oil resources in the Syrian Al-Jazira region by the US backed militia called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

Local sources told SANA reporter that the locals condemned the SDF’s crimes and corruption practices which led to poor living and health conditions in the town.

The demonstrators blocked the main roads in the town with tires and stones, while the SDF militia mobilized all its armed groups in the area in an attempt to suppress the demonstration and control the situation.

On Monday, citizens in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor massed themselves at the Al-Qahawi Junction in the town of Abu Hamam in a demonstration against the SDF militia’s repressive and blackmail practices and attempts to control the area’s resources that belong to the Syrian citizens.
