The people of the town of Al-Izba in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor confronted an armed group of the SDF “Qasad” militia affiliated with the American occupation, which tried to confiscate a tank of diesel fuel that belong to the village’s farmers.
Local sources stated that the people of the town of Al-Izba, north of Deir Ezzor, clashed with armed men from the so-called SDF customs, affiliated with the “Qasad” militia, on the background of their attempt to kidnap a citizen and confiscate a diesel tank he was driving and which belonged to farmers from the town. The attempt by the SDF militants led to injuries among them gunmen and among civilians.
The sources indicated that the people expelled the militiamen from the town after targeting their cars, amid fears that the militia would storm the town and commit crimes against the citizens.
