HASAKA, (ST)- Locals and Syrian army personnel on Tuesday intercepted a US occupation convoy of military vehicles bound to Abu Rasin village in Hasaka countryside and forced it to return from where it came.
According to local sources, Syrian army personnel and civilians from Abu Rasin town intercepted a US occupation convoy of 8 vehicles that tried to enter Abu Rasin town from al-Dardara village. They forced the convoy to return to their illegal bases in the area.
On May 30, Washington sent a convoy of 25 military vehicles carrying concrete barriers, refrigerators, ammunition and a number of “Hummer” cars to its illegal bases at the southern entrance of al-Rmeilan city in Hasaka northeastern countryside.
The convoy entered the Syrian territories from Iraq via the illegal al-Waleed crossing.
