Local community in Al-Ghariya Al-Sharqiya town in Daraa countryside contributes to implementing SYP 700 million worth vital projects

Daraa – The technical teams in the General Establishment for Bridges and the Directorate of Technical Services in Daraa in cooperation with the Council of the Al-Ghariya Al-Sharqiya town and the local community there have accomplished a number of vital projects to improve the situation of services and education in the town at a cost of more than 700 million Syrian Pounds.

Head of the town council Ismael Al-Zou’bi told a SANA reporter that the residents in the town, under the supervision of the town council, established a new road, covered it with asphalt and rehabilitated all the roads leading to the town’s schools at a cost of 220 million Syrian pounds.

Al-Zou’bi added that the locals also carried out maintenance and rehabilitation works for all the schools of the town at a cost of 300 million Syrian pounds and contributed to restoring the building of the town council, that was damaged due to terrorism, at a cost of 200 million Syrian pounds.

They have also carried out maintenance for the town’s entrance as well as other vital activities at a cost of 100 million Syrian pounds, Al-Zou’by pointed out.
