The International Arab Popular Committee for Lifting the Siege imposed on Syria has stressed that lifting the blockade is a continuous international Arab battle in which different popular, political and cultural sectors and personalities take part.
In a statement on Saturday, the committee said that the suffering of the Syrian people due to the siege amounts to war crimes and crimes against humanity, stressing that this suffering should immediately end.
The committee reiterated the need to reject using the Syrians’ suffering to serve the political goals of Washington and the Zionist entity.
The committee hailed the wide participation of leading personalities from all Arab countries in the popular campaign to lift the siege imposed on Syria, pointing out that this campaign is the first step within a work program that leads to holding an international Arab forum that aims at lifting the unjust blockade.
