Life back to normal in Sahnaya and Ashrafieh Sahnaya cities after the deployment of General Security Forces

DAMASCUS COUNTRYSIDE, MAY.3, (ST)-Life has returned to normal in the cities of Sahnaya and Ashrafieh Sahnaya in Damascus countryside, after the end of security tensions and the deployment of General Security forces to consolidate stability and maintain civil peace.

Neighborhoods in both cities witnessed normal activity by citizens, who returned to their usual activities, with a rush to markets and shops to secure their supplies and needs.

Ahmed Jaber, a resident of Sahnaya, declared that life in the city have returned to normal, thanks to the deployment of General Security forces, and there is a sense of relief among residents who have returned to their normal lives.

Abu Adnan, owner of a shop in Ashrafieh Sahnaya, called for rejecting the rhetoric of violence and sectarian incitement, and ignoring social media that constantly incite to achieve external goals.

For his part, teacher Alaa Muhammad pointed out that the Syrian people, regardless of their diverse components, are one, and that they will not allow foreign interference to destabilize the country.

“We, as Syrians, are able to resolve our problems and disputes ourselves. We do not want foreign intervention in our affairs,” he said

“Things are fine….Goods and materials are available,” Umm Wael began her speech.

She added, “Thank God, everything is available, and we enter and exit the city easily , thanks to the efforts of the city’s notables and the widespread presence of public security.”
