Lebanon’s Supreme Defense Council submits a recommendation to extend the general mobilization

Beirut,(ST)-Today, the Supreme Defense Council in Lebanon, at the end of its session held at Baabda Palace, headed by Lebanese President General Michel Aoun, submitted a recommendation to the government to extend the general mobilization in the country due to the Coronavirus until the end of this year.

The Council also condemned the Israeli aggression on a number of southern villages last night and listened to an explanation from the Army Commander about the situation in southern Lebanon and decided to submit a complaint to the UN Security Council regarding the repeated Israeli attacks.

Last night, the Israeli occupation forces launched flare bombs over the occupied Palestinian territories in the area opposite the towns of Hula and Meiss el-Jabal in southern Lebanon.
