Lebanon’s President Michel Aoun has asked Zeina Akar, the Lebanese Deputy Prime Minister, who is also Minister of Defense and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the caretaking government to tell the Lebanese Permanent Representative to the United Nations Amal Mdallali about the need to brief the UN on the continuous Israeli violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty through using the Lebanese airspaces in attacking Syrian territories, calling for a UN action against these incessant violations.
He pointed out that a recent Israeli missile attack on Syria from the Lebanese airspaces has caused damage to two Lebanese towns.
Former Lebanese Minister of Defense Fayez Ghysen strongly condemned the Israeli aggression on Syrian territories, stressing that the Zionist enemy violates Lebanon’s sovereignty and intentionally uses its airspaces to attack Syria.
