Lebanon renews its demand to stop the Israeli violations against its lands 

Lebanese Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati renewed his call on the United Nations to put pressure on the Israeli occupation entity to stop its violations of Lebanese sovereignty.

The National News Agency quoted Mikati as saying, “Lebanon is committed to the provisions of International Resolution No. 1701, and to coordination between the army and the UN Interim Forces in Lebanon UNIFIL forces to maintain stability in South Lebanon and along the Lebanese borders”.

Mikati called on the United Nations to “pressure Israel to stop its repeated violations of the Blue Line and the Lebanese sovereignty and also to stop works within the Lebanese territory, because this matter causes serious tensions”.

He stressed Lebanon’s adherence to its right to regain its occupied lands.

Also, Mikati met with the Commander-in-Chief of the international force operating in southern Lebanon General Aroldo Lazzaro, accompanied by political advisor Herve Le Coque. They discussed the security situation in the south.
