Lebanon Rejects Using Its Airspace to Attack Syria

BEIRUT, (ST)- The Lebanese Foreign Ministry has condemned the Israeli enemy’s missile attack on the T-4 airbase in the countryside of Syria’s Homs.

 In a statement on Tuesday, the ministry stressed its rejection to using the Lebanese airspace to attack Syria, saying Lebanon will complain to UN Security Council over using its airspace by Israeli warplanes to strike Syria.

Iran censures Israeli attack on Syrian T-4 airbase

Meantime, the Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi censured the Israeli attack on the Syrian airbase of T-4, reiterating that the aggression comes within the Israeli attempts to escalate tension in Syria and the region in general.

In a statement to Russia Today channel, Araghchi urged all parties to be cautious against the Zionist intentions to escalate tension, particularly in Syria.

The Russian diplomat expressed Iran’s determination to continue dialogue and cooperation with Russia and Turkey on Syria within the framework of Astana process, pointing out that Iran won’t subjugate to any party that seeks undermining the political process to find settlement in Syria.
