Lebanon: martyrs and wounded as Israeli raids continue on several towns and regions
The Israeli enemy’s air force renewed its attacks on Lebanese towns and regions, targeting infrastructure and residential neighborhoods, which led to the martyrdom and injury of many people.
The enemy’s air force launched raids during the night and this morning targeting the towns of Kfar Shuba, Khiyam, Nabatieh, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, and between al-Numayriyeh and al-Sharqiya, which led to the martyrdom of 3 members of the Islamic Health Authority.
The air force also launched raids on Arnoun, Kfar Tibnit, Horsh Ali al-Taher, the vicinity of Qalaat al-Shaqif, the Litani River between Zutar and Deir Siryan, between Shukin and Mefadoun, the outskirts of Kfar Sir, and Ain Qana in Iqlim al-Tuffah.
The enemy raids targeted the town of Romin, which led to the martyrdom of five people. The raids included Deir Siryan and Zifta, where a drone targeted their main street, which led to the road being closed two martyrs being killed, and injuries being reported.
Meanwhile, the enemy’s aircraft raided Deir al-Zahrani, Zawtar al-Gharbiya, Kawthariyah al-Sayyad, Ansar, Harsh Kfar Tibnit, al-Ghazieh, Wazbdin, Yahmar al-Shaqif, and Kfar Malki, which led to the martyrdom of one person.
They also raided Houmin al-Tahta, Kafrwa, and al-Qatrani, which led to the martyrdom of three paramedics from the Islamic Health Authority and two paramedics from the Authority in Deir Qanoun.
A drone raided a motorcycle in Nabatieh al-Fawqa, which led to the martyrdom of one person.
The enemy aircrafts launched a raid on the Khardali road, which led to the road between Nabatieh and Marjeyoun being cut off, and the towns of Yater, Kafra, Shaqra, Kafr Donin, Majdal Silm and the city of Bint Jbeil were subjected to raids, while the enemy artillery targeted the towns of Khiyam, Yahmar al-Shaqif and Jabal al-Ahmar between Harouf, Shukin and Zebdine.
In addition, violent clashes are taking place between the resistance and the Israeli enemy forces around the municipality of Khiyam after the enemy forces advanced, supported by Merkava tanks, from the direction of the chalets and the prison in the southern outskirts under the cover of raids, artillery and phosphorous shelling in the center of Khiyam and on its outskirts towards Abel al-Saqi and Jdeidet Marjeyoun.
Clashes also broke out between the resistance and the enemy forces at the Maroun al-Ras-Ainata-Bint Jbeil triangle, and the resistance targeted enemy forces’ positions on the outskirts of Shama and al-Bayada, and the clashes are still ongoing.
