Lebanon instructs its mission to the United Nations to submit a complaint to the Security Council about the Israeli aggression

Beirut (ST): The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced its intention to submit a complaint to the UN Security Council, protesting the Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon.

The ministry stated in a tweet  that “after consulting with Prime Minister Najib Mikati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Abdullah Bou Habib instructed the Permanent Mission of Lebanon to the United Nations in New York to submit an official complaint to the UN Security Council following the Israeli deliberate bombing and attack at dawn today on areas in southern Lebanon.

The ministry added: The Israeli aggression constitutes a flagrant violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty, and a flagrant violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701, and also threatens the stability that southern Lebanon enjoyed.
