Beirut, (ST) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants in the Lebanese caretaker government announced that it has filed a new complaint to the Security Council over the repeated Israeli attacks on Lebanon, during the period from October 25 to November 1, 2024.
The Lebanese National News Agency quoted the ministry as saying in a statement: “Within the framework of the periodic complaints submitted by the Permanent Mission of Lebanon to the United Nations in New York to document the Israeli aggression on Lebanon and place the international community and the Security Council before their responsibility in order to take action to stop it, a new complaint was submitted to the Security Council regarding “Israel’s” attacks on Lebanon during the period from October 25 to November 1, 2024.”
The complaint indicated that “Israel” continues its aggression against Lebanon, its violation of its sovereignty, its ground incursion into its territory, its commission of more massacres, and its continuous and systematic destruction of border villages, such as the town of Adaisseh, one of whose neighborhoods the Israeli army blew up with 400 tons of explosives.
The complaint concluded by renewing the call on the member states of the Security Council to condemn “Israel’s” hostile actions, take firm measures to stop them, hold it fully responsible for the heavy losses in lives and property, demand its immediate and unconditional withdrawal from the occupied Lebanese territories, and implement the Security Council resolutions in a full and comprehensive manner to ensure the security and stability of the region.
