TEHRAN -Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour filed a complaint against Israel at the UN to protest against the violation of the Blue Line by the Israeli troops on August 7.
“This action forms a flagrant violation of Lebanese sovereignty, UN Security Council Resolution 1701, international law and the Charter of the United Nations, as a threat to international peace and security,” said the complaint, according to FNA.
Mansour asked to present this complaint to the UN Security Council, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon and the presidency of the UN Security Council, so that the latter would distribute it to the Member States in the Security Council and issue it as an official document of the Security Council, the Lebanese National news agency reported.
Mansour also requested to file the complaint to the presidency of the General Assembly of the United Nations and issue it as an official document of the General Assembly.
