Lebanon files a complaint to the Security Council after the assassination of Al-Arouri

Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati filed an urgent complaint to the UN Security Council against the Zionist entity, after the assassination of the deputy head of the political bureau of The Palestinian Resistance Movement “Hamas” Saleh al- Arouri and his companions.

Lebanese websites quoted the Lebanese Prime Minister’s Office as saying: “Mikati contacted Foreign Minister Bou Habib, requesting that an urgent complaint be submitted to the UN Security Council, against the backdrop of the Israeli blatant attack on the Lebanese sovereignty through bombing the southern suburb of Beirut yesterday evening, and against the backdrop of all the new Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty.”

Lebanon has previously filed several complaints against the Zionist entity in the Security Council, concerning several issues, including targeting of journalists in South Lebanon and the occupation of border towns.
