Lebanon files a complaint at UNSC on Israeli violations

Beirut (ST): Lebanon filed today a complaint at the UN Security Council regarding the recurrent Israeli violations of the Lebanese sovereignty.

The Lebanese National News Agency said that the Lebanese Foreign and Expatriate Ministry lodged a complaint at the UNSC concerning the gross Israeli violations.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese Foreign and Expatriates Minister Nassif Hatti reviewed with the UN coordinator to Lebanon the latest developments in the South and Lebanon’s commitment to the UN resolution No. 1701.

Earlier, the UNIFEl chief affirmed that the recurrent Israeli violations contradict the objectives of the UNIFEL to ease tension and create a stable and peaceful atmosphere in South Lebanon calling on Israel to immediately halt its violations of the Lebanese sovereignty.
